Fires Rage Across Israel
Beginning on the 22nd of November, a wave of about 2,000 fires spread across Israel, with some fires as far north as the city of Naharaiya, with the largest devastation occurring in and around the beautiful city of Haifa. It was reported that in Haifa alone more than 1600 people are homeless and hundreds of apartments uninhabitable.
In all, of the 2,000 fires throughout the country, 39 of which required more than 10 separate teams working in unison to fight the flames, it is suspected that 25 out of 39 severe fires were started by arsonists, so dozens of suspects are now under investigation. The cost to private citizens and the government will probably exceed $1 billion. Over 5,000 acres of land burned. Full restoration can take nearly 30 years – Our neighboring village of Nataf was under evacuation, and authorities were asking residents of Har Adar, our village, to take families in.
But above all – Our God, who was not caught by surprise, and who has a specific plan for this nation, will eventually reveal how even this new form of terror will serve His higher good.
Visit To Sheba Hospital
The Team from Church In The City, in Denver, has just completed it’s 10-day mission. We were rained out of 2 outdoor service projects, but had tremendous opportunities to share the “Good News” at the Sheva Hospital. That’s Bess praying for Mustafa, a Bedouin IDF Border Patrolmen, paralyzed by 2 bullets to the back during a border incursion. Please pray for his salvation & supernatural healing.
Hineni Ministries
We had a great encounter with “Egal”, the young man leading the Shabbat Dinner for Hineni Ministries. Please pray for the veil to be lifted.
We are excited to announce that we will visiting family and friends in Denver from mid-December, to mid-January. We also will be attending the Calvary Chapel Missions Conference in California. If you’re going to be there, please stop by our booth to say “Shalom”.
