The passion and purpose of Beit Rachamim

A little history of Beit Rachamim and a bit about what we do and why we do it.

See the Land, Serve the People.

Here is a brief look at what it’s like to serve on one of our teams.

A look back at some of our teams serving alongside us in Israel

A video looking back at some of our previous teams and the amazing work the Lord has done through the mission of Beit Rachamim.

Our team from Rock Solid Christian Academy in Denver Colorado

We were blessed to take another amazing team up to Tiberias to serve with “The Beautiful Land Initiative” picking up trash in the community.  Lord, may we continue to stir Your people to jealousy.

Our team from CC Surfside in Florida and Yeshuat Tsion in Colorado

We took the team up to Tiberias and joined the wonderful folks at “The Beautiful Land Initiative” as we cleaned up the trash on one of the many beautiful beaches on the Sea of Galilee.

#13 - Tanakh (Old Testament) Yom Kippur. Leviticus 16, 17, 23

The day of Atonement.  What is the scapegoat and what was it’s purpose?  What is the difference between Yom Kippur and Yom Kippurim?

#12 - Tanakh (Old Testament) Theophanies. Daniel 7 (oops, not 9)

Beginning in chapter 7 verse 9.

Can we know what God the Father might look like?  Who is the “Son of Man”?  Is the Messiah just a man?

Did Moses and his elders see God?  If God could not appear as a man, could He eat and drink with them?

#10 - Tanakh (Old Testament) Theophanies. Judges 13

What is meant by, “the Angel of the Lord”?  Is it possible that God would appear to someone in the physical form of a man and they could live to tell about it?

#9 - Tanakh (Old Testament) Theophanies. Genesis 32

What is a Theophany?  How could God take the form of a man?  Is it possible for a man to see God face to face and live?

#8 - Tanakh (Old Testament) prophesies. Psalm 22

King David predicted the Messiah’s death by crucifixion 400 years before crucifixion was invented.

They will mourn for Him whom they have pierced as one mourns for his only son.

#5 - Tanakh (Old Testament) prophesies. Daniel 9:24-27

Why would you be cursed for reading and understanding what is written in the word of God?  Would God speak to us through the Prophet Daniel if we weren’t to receive it?

#4 - Tanakh (Old Testament) prophesies. Micah 5:2

Isn’t the Messiah to come from Bethlehem, the city of David?  How could He be ‘from the beginning’?

#3 - Tanakh (Old Testament) prophesies. Isaiah 53

Reigning ruler or suffering servant?  Who was Isaiah referring to?  Why won’t the Rabbi’s read this chapter?

#2 - Tanakh (Old Testament) prophesies. Isaiah 7:14

Young maiden or virgin?  God with us?  What does this mean?

#1 - Tanakh (Old Testament) prophesies. Isaiah 9:6
