January 2025 Update – House of Compassion Israel

And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets up kings: he gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding. - Daniel 2:21

Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them anymore there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. - Ezekiel 39:28-29

Throughout history, both biblical and secular, we see how God used one man to stand for that which is right and just in His sight. Moses, Mordechai, King David, Abraham Lincoln, and Winston Churchill all had flaws yet they were called into His kingdom for that time. We perceive Israel’s PM Bibi Netanyahu like that, and until God removes him from office, we are burdened to pray for him to complete the task that God has laid on him .
Likewise, with Donald Trump’s stunning victory, and the capture of both the Senate and House of Representatives, he too falls into that same category.
Because the Lord has placed both men in their current positions, as the verse in Daniel above reminds us, it is crucial we keep them in our prayers for wisdom & direction, as they lead their nations in this critical time of history.

It is God’s will for all Jews to return to His/their land, and this is linked to all Israel being saved. Yet a majority of Jews still live in “the captivity” in gentile nations. Although anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism has increased exponentially since last Oct. 7th, most Jews remain there. Only God knows what it will take to shake them out of their false comfort zones, yet we continue to pray for that . The verse in Ezekiel above, reminds us of the importance of Aliyah, the return of Jewish people back to the Land of Israel.

In 2024, 31,000 people have made Aliyah representing 100 countries!
The Jewish Agency for Israel registered a worldwide surge in Diaspora Jews planning to move to Israel, with a 400% increase in France and a 70% increase in the U.S. and Canada.

The Church, has an enormous calling from God to help with the process. As God’s word says in Isaiah 49:22..” Behold, I will lift up my hand to the Gentiles and set up my standard to the people; and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.”

For over a year, be it on television, in the newspapers, or on-line reports, we have been shown the faces of the hostage’s from October 7th of last year, and every soldier and civilian killed in battle or from a terrorist attack. Nothing is ever mentioned about those injured….just a number. “Three killed, 5 injured”, “2 life threatening, 3 moderate,etc., etc., etc… never a face, just a number.

Well, that all changed about a week ago as ten of us traveled to the Sheba Rehabilitation Hospital, near Ramat Gan, a suburb of Tel Aviv, as an outreach to pray for the soldiers wounded in battle. We had been there many times in the past with mission teams that we’ve hosted, but this was different. Hardly an open bed available, the majority male, very young, 18-20, single, with their mother by their bedside. Some with very serious brain injuries, unable to communicate, to soldiers who were anxious to tell us it was a miracle they were alive, and everything in between. God always shows up at the hospital when we go, and this time was no different.

We want to encourage you, if you’ve ever thought about serving in Israel, there is much to do. The need is great. Many people are coming, and many more airlines are coming on line. Be a blessing, and be blessed.
