He has remembered His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac. Then He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan As the portion of your inheritance,” - Psalm 105: 8-11

This is an unprecedented and challenging time.

First, Bess & I hope you and your loved ones are safe, healthy, and strong in the Lord.

We want to thank you for your continued faithfulness, prayers, support, and generosity in giving to the Lord’s purposes especially in this time.  Your faithfulness and support is more crucial now than ever before – and truly make a tremendous difference for us now than ever before.  SUPPORT HERE

Israel is just beginning to loosen the strict regulations it has had in place for almost two months.  Our May, June, and July mission teams have already cancelled, but we are hearing whispers that possibly flights will be continued in August which will allow us to salvage the teams scheduled to come every month through December.  Israel has not allowed incoming flights of non-citizens.  Please pray with us that the airport will be open to international travelers, sooner rather than later.

The United States is about six months away from perhaps its most critical elections in its history.  The conspiracy theories are abundant, and every topic is up for discussion.  If one-half of them are valid, we need to praying that the Messiah is ”near, even at the door!”

I have listed Psalm 105 above, specifically because of what the former Vice President, and apparent Democratic candidate for President stated just this week, if he is elected.

Biden said the U.S. should press Israel not to take any actions that jeopardize a two-state solution, a reference to reports that Israel may try to annex part of the West Bank.

Biden, in a statement Tuesday to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, also said that as president he would resume U.S. assistance to the Palestinians, reopen the U.S. consulate in eastern Jerusalem that administers primarily to the Palestinians and would seek to reopen the Palestine Liberation Organization mission in Washington.  The PLO has been declared a terrorist organization.

“A priority now for the cause of Israeli-Palestinian peace should be resuming our dialogue with the Palestinians and pressing Israel not to take actions that make a two-state solution impossible… I will reopen the U.S. consulate in East Jerusalem, find a way to re-open the PLO’s diplomatic mission in Washington, and resume the decades-long economic and security assistance efforts to the Palestinians that the Trump Administration stopped.” – Biden said.

He has made it pretty clear where he stands on the issues.  Bess and I will be casting our absentee ballot…this is an election that we cannot afford to sit out.

I believe Mr. Biden is unfamiliar with the prophet Joel’s words in Chapter 3, verses 1 & 2:

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided my land.” – Joel 3:1-2

On an encouraging note, for the first time, an Israeli Messianic TV channel has started to broadcast on Israeli cable TV in Hebrew, but Israel’s communication minister is already threatening to close it.

“We will never let a missionary TV channel broadcast in Israel at any time or in any way,” – Dudi Amsalem said.

However, when Amsalem posted this on Twitter, most of the people who commented poked fun at him, asking if he will also shut down all the religious Jewish TV channels that actively try to convince people to become observant.

The channel’s contract is between Hot, the local cable company and God TV, but instead of airing its own content, God TV handed it over to the local Messianic body in Israel to air content in Hebrew.  Shelanu is governed by a board with representatives from several Messianic ministries and congregations.

“Shelanu translates to ‘ours’ in Hebrew. We want every person in Israel to know, not a foreign Messiah, but a Jewish one! His name is Yeshua, and he has not forgotten his people,” – God TV wrote on its website.

Please pray that the station will be able to continue broadcasting to our local market throughout the State of Israel.

Once again, we greatly appreciate you standing with us during this challenging season.
